How it all started: 
This book started off as my final writing assignment for seminary. I had the option to either write a 25,000 word dissertation paper or to write a 45,000 word book and have it published for my final. I had decided to write the dissertation paper because it would take much less time and be almost half as long as a book when things begin to change.
A few days before I had to make the final decision about which one I would write, one of my customers (who is also an author) named, Alan Portman, came to my business and told me that I should write a book. He had stopped in that day just to tell me that God had laid it on his heart to come and tell me to write a book. I went home and told my wife what had happened and she told me that I better pray about it and write a book if that is what God wanted me to do. I did just that and here we are today! Faith & Football just fell out of my heart and onto the pages of  what is now the book. The interview process and writing of this book carried me to half a dozen states and took me just over two months to complete. This includes the entire interview and writing process. I have been so blessed to get the interviews that I did and the website, web host, cover designer, photo shoot team, volunteers, coaches, etc. They all just fell into place. It has been obvious that God has had His hand on this project and I believe that He will use this book to do great and mighty things in the lives of it's readers.
